Tipper Haulage Solutions – New Website – May 2017
The Tipper Haulage Solutions group were formed from the two haulage companies DLC Haulage and JRC Haulage. Having forged strong relationships with the commercial and domestic sector, and having formed Tipper Haulage, the owners were looking to be found on the Internet via a website, a facebook page, a google plus page and via Twitter.
Before creating a website that would respond quickly on mobiles, tablets and desktops, I began by creating the Google My Business page, the Twitter page and Facebook page ensuring that all pages linked to the new website with the important details like Name, Address and Phone number matching identically on all three social media sites. It was then important to write content that for each page that included all the keywords the team wanted to be found for.
We examined the competition and thought we could do better
Many of the websites we looked at were functional but dull. They lacked colour and interest.
Brand New Website
New MATCHING BUSINESS PAGES
Great Looking Site
Search for Tipper Haulage Solutions on Google and see the use of colour
Tablets are all the rage! But how would Tipper Haulage Solutions be found? Importantly, whether the website is found on any device, at any resolution, the site looks great!
Spice up your website
We used video clips, taken on site by the team to illustrate the work of the 8 wheeler tipper trucks. This showed them on a large construction site being loaded with soil.
Strong font’s coupled with the colours of all the Tipper Trucks and combined with the edges of the logo gave the site it’s own identity.
Optimized for the Search Engines
Alongside the added Facebook, Google and Twitter pages, it was important to create content that incorporated keywords that the business would like to be found for. These were added to all pages including the ‘Welcome to’ post that was created on the first day.
Strong Call to Actions
The contact numbers and e-mail address contact buttons were placed strategically all over the Tipper site. They were also used in the secondary menu making it easy for customers to contact the team.
